Similar Strains of Coagulase-Negative Staphylococci Found in the Gastrointestinal Tract and Bloodstream of Bacteremic Neonates

<div>PFGE dendrogram of 5 <i>S. epidermidis</i> and 7 <i>S. haemolyticus</i> strains isolated from positive blood cultures, pharyngeal samples, or perianal samples from two symptomatic neonates, and 4 <i>S. epidermidis</i> and 4 <i>S. haemolyticus</i> strains isolated from healthy neonates (control). One random specimen was used as a control for testing the validity of the PFGE results.</div>
