CAAC diminished the apoptosis and the levels of apoptosis-related proteins in the skeletal muscle tissue of FST model rats. (a) The effect of CAAC on the apoptosis in the skeletal muscle tissue of FST model rats was unveiled using terminal-deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick end labeling (TUNEL) staining (magnification: 100x, scale ). (b) The effect of CAAC on the levels of apoptosis-related proteins in the skeletal muscle tissue of FST model rats was illustrated based on the results of Western blot. Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) was used as an internal control. All experiments have been performed in triplicate, and data were expressed as deviation (SD). vs. the model group; vs. the control group.
