Comparison among Reconstruction Algorithms for Quantitative Analysis of ¹¹C-Acetate Cardiac PET Imaging

Coronal PET images reconstructed by FBP (a), OSEM (b), TOF (c), and TPSF (d). OSEM reconstruction was performed with 20 iterations and 10 subsets, with application of a 6.5 mm (FWHM) Gaussian post-filter. Both TOF and TPSF reconstructions were performed with 10 iterations and 10 subsets, with application of a 5 mm (FWHM) Gaussian post-filter. The scan started at 450 seconds after ¹¹C-acetate injection with scan duration of 30 seconds.
