Radiosynthesis and Preclinical Evaluation of <sup>11</sup>C-VA426, a Cyclooxygenase-2 Selective Ligand

<div>Inhibition study in healthy rats (<i>n</i> = 6, three per group) was performed after administration of celecoxib, a COX-2 specific inhibitor, or vehicle DMSO (control group). Ex vivo biodistribution at 30 minutes after <sup>11</sup>C-VA426 injection (a) in the periphery and (b) in the brain. Uptake values are expressed as %ID/g.</div>
