A Finite Element Study of Micropipette Aspiration of Single Cells: Effect of Compressibility

Table 3

Optimized material parameters of the models. The values of root mean square error (RMSE) between experimental data points and corresponding points of each model are also listed.

Model  (s)  (Pa)RMSE

Incompressible NHVH with inputs from Tan et al. [5]0.57.800.582962.29
Incompressible NHVH0.51.200.613191.42
Compressible NHVH0.423.60.70.514140.44

Parameters for incompressible and compressible NHVH models were obtained by optimizing the FE model to the corresponding experimental curve, while the parameters for the incompressible NHVH model were also obtained from the literature [5].
