Chondron aspect ratios (see Figure 3) measured for the three different zonal depths and for the three strain levels used. Relative to the undeformed ratios, there were significant differences in the tangential zone for all three strain levels and in the midzone for only the medium and high strain levels (𝑃 value < 0.05, noted with an asterisk). Compared with the undeformed, there were no significant changes in the aspect ratio of chondrons in the deep zone for all three strain levels.
