(b) shows the CCM simulation of the effect of antiamyloid therapy administered in AD after symptom onset. The red curve shows marked decline in brain amyloid levels, the blue line shows a small decrease in tau levels, and green lines show there is no significant effect on cognitive decline onset or rate, consistent with the many failed trials.
