Endostatin attenuated the upregulation of adhesion molecules in the diabetic rats. (a) Western blotting was performed to test the expression of adhesion molecules in the retina tissues from the diabetic rats, including ICAM-1 and VCAM-1. (b) The immunofluorescence assay was conducted to evaluate the expression of ICAM-1 in the retina tissues from the diabetic rats. (c) The level of ICAM-1 in serum was detected by ELISA.
