The distribution of correlations between variables connected as an ER network is peaked at a certain value, whereas assuming a heterogeneous network leads to a much broader spectrum of correlation values. The Newman modular network brings about two clear peaks, corresponding to intracluster and intercluster correlations. Parameters of the model are set for all nodes to and for all networks, and for Erdös-Rényi network, and for heterogeneous network, and and for Newman modular network.
