Varying drought categories observed in various stations for SPI-1. NA corresponding to any color shows that the specific drought category is not observed in the particular station. For instance, in Astore the ED is not observed; therefore, the NA is assigned corresponding to its color. The MD occurs 109 times in the selected time period (“January 1971 to December 2017”) in Skardu Station. The ND appears 363 times in Skardu Station. The MW occurs 56 times in Skardu Station and so on. The remaining numerical values corresponding to each station and color can be observed accordingly for varying drought categories.
