An Unusual Presentation of Tumor Lysis Syndrome in a Patient with Advanced Gastric Adenocarcinoma: Case Report and Literature Review

Allopurinol is a competitive inhibitor of the enzyme xanthine oxydase. Rasburicase (exogenous urate oxidase) leads uric acid to a more soluble compound, allantoin. </table>
