1Stereotypies: the most characteristic stereotype associated with catatonic symptoms was rubbing and scratching his bottom to the point of irritating the skin. 2Ambitendency: the patient appeared motorically stuck in indecisive, hesitant movements [27]. The patient would go back and forth from the shower and get dressed and undressed. 3The patient was described as the “best ever” by staff.
