In (a), dense metaphyseal lines (arrows) in the proximal femur and sclerosis of the acetabular rim were seen. In (b), there was mild sclerosis in both margins of closed physes (arrows). Three layers of bone were evident in iliac wing, with subchondral lucency of the outer layer and two layers in the ischial bone and the acetabulum.
