No vascularity was demonstrated to suggest and underlying mass. (b) Coronal image demonstrate partial collapse of the lower and upper lobes due to mass effect from the pleural collection. (c) Sonographic image through the left hemidiaphragm shows a mildly complex pleural fluid collection.
