Generation of airway smooth muscle cells (ASMCs) with stable knockdown of S100A9 expression (ASMC-shRNA-S100A9). (a) Light microscopy image of ASMC-shRNA-S100A9 cells. (b) Green fluorescent protein (GFP) expression indicated the expression of S100A9 RNAi, and GFP-positive cells accounted for more than 95% of the total cell population by fluorescence microscopy.
