Overexpression of MALAT1 Relates to Lung Injury through Sponging miR-425 and Promoting Cell Apoptosis during ARDS

Exosome from ARDS patients’ plasma delivered less miR-425 into target cells and did not repress PTEN expression. (a) A549 and HFL-1 cells were cocultured with exosomes from ARDS patients or healthy controls. The miR-425 level was detected by qRT-PCR 48 hours after coculture. (b) A549 and HFL-1 cells were transfected with PTEN reporter and then cocultured with exosomes from ARDS patients or healthy controls. The luciferase activity was detected 48 hours after coculture.
