S: sensibility. E: specificity. PPV: positive predictive value. NPV: negative predictive value. LR+: positive likelihood ratio. LR−: negative likelihood ratio. AUC: area under the curve of receiver operating characteristics. CI: confidence interval. CORB: confusion (new onset or deterioration of preexisting condition), oxygen saturation ≤90%, respiratory rate ≥30/min, and systolic blood pressure <90 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≤60 mmHg. CURB-65: confusion, urea nitrogen >7 mmol/L (19 mg/dL), respiratory rate ≥30/min, systolic blood pressure <90 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≤60 mmHg, and age ≥65 years. FiO2: fraction of inspired oxygen. SpO2: oxygen saturation by pulse oximetry. SpO2/FiO2: oxygen saturation by pulse oximetry/fraction of inspired oxygen ratio. |
