Kaplan-Meier analysis on diabetic hemodialysis patients showed that patients with higher HDL-C AI enjoy cardiovascular event-free lives longer than those with lower HDL-C. Log-rank test denoted that there was a significant difference in cardiovascular events between the two subgroups.
