(1) Inpatients who underwent a surgical procedure during the study period	(1) Age <18 years
	(2) Surgery not performed using general anesthesia
	(3) Cardiac- or thoracic-related surgery
	(4) Prior diagnosis of AF
	(5) Supraventricular arrhythmia excluded AF
	(6) Nondocumented AF
