Schematic of the model and simulated space. Here, a two-dimensional hexagonal grid is used. Two-state cells (black and white) are assumed. The illustration shows the modification process of the tokens that are produced in the black cells. The number labeling the token is modified up to times in each cell, and some tokens remain in their cells without modification. The frequency distribution of token numbers determines the subsequent state of each cell. Here is the maximum number that can be attached to a token and is a positive integer.
