Description

The rapid development of science and technology coupled with increasing urbanization reminds us that what occurs in one corner of the global village will invariably affect other corners as the world is now wired and connected. The ever-growing World Wide Web also amplifies the uncertainty of human behavior. The trend of globalization will doubtlessly lead to more unexpected events worldwide, which can spread much more quickly and be more influential than ever before. Accordingly, governments are facing great pressure to deal with unconventional emergencies under these circumstances.

The areas of management, economics, and finance of a country are vulnerable to unexpected events. The actual social management and economic system is a complex and highly nonlinear system with multiple feedback. It is of high interdependency to the environment and time-point, has a strong counter-intuitive and time-lag effect, extreme sensitivity to any change in the system, and additive of the delay and delay utility to policy effect. Due to the interaction between the environment and time-varying factors, dealing with problems in social management as well as economics is increasingly difficult. Therefore, it is important to explore the framework and operation mechanism of social management systems through the organizational behavior and evolution of modelling theory in social management, the complex behaviors that influence modelling methods of the virtual social, and exploratory analysis and experimental methods of calculation of situation of social interaction.

To this end, this Special Issue invites scholars who have contributed to the following areas to share their latest research results. Original research and review articles are welcome.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

  • Economic and financial complex systems and relevant experimental calculations in 2020
  • Delayed economic and financial complex systems and relevant applications in 2020
  • Stochastic complex economic and financial systems and relevant applications in 2020
  • Chaotic evolution social insurance complex supply chain systems and relevant experimental calculation in 2020
