The functional role of miR-146a. (a) Forced expression of miR-146a by transfection of cells with pre-miR-146a with lipidosome significantly inhibited apoptosis, whereas downregulation of miR-146a by anti-pre-miR miR-146a inhibitor significantly increased apoptosis in NB4 cells. (b) Forced expression of miR-146a significantly increased, whereas downregulation of miR-146a significantly decreased cell proliferation in NB4 cells.
