miR-195 Regulates Proliferation and Apoptosis through Inhibiting the mTOR/p70s6k Signaling Pathway by Targeting HMGA2 in Esophageal Carcinoma Cells

Rapamycin inhibits the cell proliferation and induced apoptosis via suppression of the mTOR/p70S6K signaling pathway in EC9706 cells. EC9706 cells were treated with 100 nmol/l rapamycin for 24 h. (a) Cell viability was examined by MTT assay. (b) Western blot analysis of Ki-67 expression. (c) Apoptosis rates in EC9706 cells were assessed by flow cytometry. (d) Western blot analysis of Bcl-2 and Bax expression. (e) qRT-PCR was used to determine the expressions of miR-195 and HMGA2 mRNA.
