Univariable logistic regression analysis investigates 13 variables as potential confounders in association with maternal/cord blood irisin concentrations. As only a few cases of TT and AA homozygotes were identified (in rs726344 and rs1746661, resp.), the analysis was performed as A (GG versus GA + AA) and T (GG versus GT + TT) dominant models and the genotype categories were merged.
