Association between Plasma Sestrin2 Levels and the Presence and Severity of Coronary Artery Disease

Plasma sestrin2 levels and the presence of CAD or the number of stenotic coronary vessels. Plasma sestrin2 levels were significantly higher in CAD than in CAD(-) (a). Moreover, sestrin2 levels in 4 groups of CAD(-), 1-VD, 2-VD, and 3-VD were 14.2, 15.4, 17.3, and 17.7 ng/mL, respectively, and were the highest in 3-VD ( by Kruskal-Wallis test) (b). The central line represents the median, and the box represents the 25th to 75th percentiles. The whiskers represent the lowest and highest values in the 25th percentile minus 1.5 IQR and 75th percentile plus 1.5 IQR, respectively.
