LINC00284 may function as “miRNA sponges,” which competitively bind to miRNA-195/497-5p to antagonize their inhibition of target genes, thereby promoting the expression of target genes (SOX9, ESRP1, ESRP1, etc.) and finally promoting serous ovarian carcinoma initiation and progression.
