High Resolution Omics for Biomarker Discovery
Description
High-resolution omics, such as single-cell sequencing, cytometry by time-of-flight, spatial transcriptomics, and multiplexed imaging, have provided an unprecedented opportunity for accelerated biomarker discovery and subsequent clinical translation. Although accumulating research efforts are being made, the utilization of high-resolution omics for biomarker discovery and successful translation are yet to flourish. Furthermore, important issues throughout the pipeline of high-resolution omics-based biomarker discovery which involves sample preparation, data pre-processing, data integration, and result interpretation, are to be addressed and discussed.
In this Special Issue, we welcome submissions focusing on high-resolution omics as tools for biomarker discovery across healthcare and biology disciplines. We welcome original research and review articles.
