Fructose-fed rats received i.v. injection of myricetin (1 mg kg-1), thrice daily for 14 days. β-FNA (10  g kg-1) was i.v. injected 30 min prior to administration of myricetin. The vehicle used to dissolve the tested drugs was given at the same volume. Values (mean ± SEM) were obtained from 5 rats. aP < .05 represents the level of significance compared to the values of the vehicle-treated group.
