Suppressive Effect on Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Proinflammatory Mediators by Citrus aurantium L. in Macrophage RAW 264.7 Cells via NF-B Signal Pathway
Figure 4
Suppressive effect of CME on the production of LPS-induced proinflammatory cytokines in RAW 264.7 cells. The RAW 264.7 cells were pretreated with CME (5, 10, 20, and 50 g/mL) for 1 hour, and then stimulated with LPS (1 g/mL). After 6 hours, the total mRNA was isolated, and the mRNA levels of (a) TNF- and (b) IL-6 were examined by RT-PCR. * indicates an increase in mRNA expression relative to the control (), ** indicates a decrease in mRNA expression relative to the LPS group ().
