Suppressive effects of CME on the LPS-induced mRNA expression of COX-2 and iNOS in RAW 264.7 cells. The RAW 264.7 cells were pretreated with CME for 1 hour, and then incubated with LPS for 6 hours. The total mRNA was isolated, and the mRNA levels of (a) COX-2 and (b) iNOS were performed by RT-PCR. * indicates an increase in mRNA expression relative to the control (), ** indicates a decrease in mRNA expression relative to the LPS group ().
