Suppressive effects of CME on the LPS-induced protein expression of COX-2 and iNOS in RAW 264.7 cells. RAW 264.7 cells were pretreated with CME for 1 hour, and then incubated with LPS for 18 hours. The cells were lysed, and the lysates were examined by immunoblotting for the protein of (a) COX-2 and (b) iNOS. * indicates an increase in protein expression relative to the control (), ** indicates a decrease in protein expression relative to the LPS group ().
