DNA protection ability of GRAE. One microgram of native calf thymus DNA in (lane 1); DNA treated with Fenton's reagent (lane 2); DNA pre-treated with 2, 4, 6 μg of GRAE (lanes 3–5) were loaded on to the 1% agarose gel. Bands were visualized by staining with ethidium bromide and in the transilluminator increased mobility represents DNA damage.
