Exaimination of cell cycle signaling (a), activated FGF signaling (b, c), and Schwann cell migration of danshen and tanshinone IIA on RSC. RSC cells were incubated with different doses of danshen and tanshinone IIA as indicated for 16 hrs. Cells were then lysed. Protein was extracted and analyzed using western blotting. α-tubulin was used as a loading control. (c) Matrix metalloprotease-9 and -2 enzyme activity was examined using zymography. (d) The Schwann cell migration was examined using the Boyden chamber system.
