Effects of HDEA on depression in mice. The mice were daily injected intraperitoneally with vehicle, HDEA (100 or 500  g/kg) or fluvoxamine (1 mg/kg) for 3 weeks with simultaneous exposure to the stress described in Materials and Methods and then subjected to the tail suspension test at 24 hr after the end of the stress. Significance of differences from the values of mice without stress exposure (control) was determined by performing Student’s t-test (* , *** ).
