Effect of MAA on the morphological changes of Ca Ski cells. The MAA-untreated cells represented cells treated with vehicle DMSO (final 0.5% v/v) for 6 h. Cells were treated with 60 μM of MAA for 6–72 h and visualized under microscope and photographed. Magnification: 100x. After treatment with MAA, cells showed progressive loss of normal elongated shape. Cells shrunk to smaller rounded cells (shown by the arrows) and detached from the surface.
