Effect of luteolin on LPS-induced Akt activation in lung. Lungs were harvested from posttreated mice and whole tissue extracts were subjected to SDS-PAGE Western blot analysis using antibodies against phosphorylated and total Akt. The ratio of immunointensity between the phosphorylation and total protein was calculated. Values are expressed as means ± S.D. ( –5 in each group). * versus LPS group.
