Quantitative Analysis of Sphingomyelin by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography after Enzymatic Hydrolysis

<table>Inhibitory effect of myriocin on <i>de novo</i> sphingolipid synthesis. 3T3-L1 preadipocytes were grown for 48 h after seeding and then treated with 5 <i>μ</i>M myriocin for varying periods of time (1, 6, 12, 24, 48, and 72 h).
