Time of addition assay for analysis of inhibitory effects of K. gracilis leaf extract on viral replication processes. K. gracilis leaf extracts at concentrations of 0 and 50 μg/mL were added to RD cells before (pre-treatment), during (simultaneous treatment), and after (post-treatment) infection with EV71 (a) or CVA16 (b) at the titer of 300 pfu. Virus titer in each cultured supernatant was measured 48 h after infection using real-time RT-PCR.
