Changes in peripherin gene and proteins expressions in rat adrenal medulla tissue and AMCC in response to induced asthma and KTR treatment. Total RNA and cellular protein were isolated from adrenal medulla tissue in rats (in vivo: (a) and (b)) and AMCC (in vitro: (c) and (d)), and the expressions of peripherin (mRNA and protein) in each group were detected by RT-PCR and western blot. Results were normalized to GAPDH, which was used as an internal control, and the bar graphs on the right show the relative densitometry results. The values are expressed means ± SD (in vivo: , in vitro: ).
