Serum AST and ALT concentrations in the LT4 and test materials-treated rats. Note that significant (𝑃<0.01) increases of serum AST and ALT contents were detected in LT4 control as compared with intact control, respectively. However, these changes on serum AST and ALT concentrations induced by LT4 were significantly (𝑃<0.01) inhibited by treatment of PTU 10 mg/kg, BR 300, 150, and 75 mg/kg, respectively.
