Terminalia catappa Exerts Antimetastatic Effects on Hepatocellular Carcinoma through Transcriptional Inhibition of Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 by Modulating NF-κB and AP-1 Activity
Figure 6
NF-B and AP-1 expressions in TCE-induced transcriptional inhibition of Huh7 cells. Huh7 cells were treated with TCE 25 and 100 g/mL for 24 h and then the nuclear fraction was prepared as described in Section 2. Levels of NF-B (a), IB (b), c-fos, and c-Jun (c) in the nucleus were immunodetected with NF-B-, IB-, c-fos-, and c-Jun-specific antibodies, respectively. Representative results of NF-B, IB, c-fos, and c-Jun protein levels determined by western blot analysis. The values represented the means SD of at least three independent experiments. * as compared with the vehicle group.
