Effects of gallic acid on activation of protein kinase C alpha (PKCα), P38 mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK), Akt, and glycogen synthase kinase 3β (GSK3β) in platelets. Platelets were pretreated with gallic acid (50–1000 μM) for 15 minutes prior to stimulation with ADP 2.5 μM, and the phosphorylation of PKCα and p38 (a) and Akt and GSK3β (b) was assayed by western blot ( ).
