Effects of epicatechin (50 mg/kg) on ethanol-induced gastric ulcer area (mm²) in rats (𝑛=7) pretreated with glibenclamide (K⁺_ATP channels blocker, 3 mg/kg) or yohimbine (𝛼₂-receptor antagonist, 3 mg/kg). The results are expressed as the mean ± SEM and analyzed by an unpaired t-test. *𝑃<0.05 and **𝑃<0.01 compared to the control group, which was orally treated with vehicle.
