Effectiveness of the Novel Herbal Medicine, KIOM-MA, and Its Bioconversion Product, KIOM-MA128, on the Treatment of Atopic Dermatitis

The effect of KIOM-MA and KIOM-MA128 on skin lesions. The improvement in skin lesions was evaluated based on the skin severity score. The clinical skin severity was decreased in the KIOM-MA-treated group and much more improved in KIOM-MA128 after 7 days. Experimental values are given as the means ± SEM (𝑛=5). *𝑃<0.05, **𝑃<0.01, when compared with untreated group.
