Effect of polyphenols on expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines. RAW 264.7 cells were treated with polyphenols extract at various concentrations (10, 50, 100, and 200 μg/mL) for 1 h before treatment with LPS (1 μg/mL) to induce inflammation. After 6 h of incubation, mRNA levels of (a) TNF-α, (b) IL-6, and (c) IL-1β were measured by RT-PCR. Data are the mean ± SD of triplicates.
