The inhibitory effect of PCME in ADP-induced platelet aggregation. Platelets (3 × 108/ml) were preincubated with or without PCME in the presence of 1 mM CaCl2 for 3 min at 37°C and then stimulated with 10  M ADP. Agonist-induced platelet aggregation was terminated at 5 min, and then percent aggregation rate was determined. Each graph shows mean ± SEM from 4 independent experiments performed. * and ** were considered as statistically significant compared with agonist control.
