Rhein Induces Apoptosis in Human Breast Cancer Cells

Flow cytometric analysis of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in human breast cancer cells with/without rhein treatment. After 24 and 48 h incubation with rhein, MCF-7/VEC and MCF-7/HER2 cells were harvested, and then stained by DCFH-DA dye. The fluorescence intensity of stained cells was determined by flow cytometry. *𝑃value<0.05; **𝑃value<0.01 compared with untreated cells.
