Representative histological images of the dorsum pedis skin in carrageenan (a, b), carrageenan + dexamethasone (c, d), carrageenan + 1.0 g/kg MEAH (e, f), and carrageenan + 0.3 g/kg MEAH (g, h) treated groups. After 4 h of carrageenan treatment, dorsum pedis skins were separated, and fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin, then embedded in paraffin, sectioned and stained with hematoxylin and eosin.
