Isolation and Chemical Structural Characterisation of a Compound with Antioxidant Activity from the Roots of <i>Senna italica</i>

<table>TLC plate of isolated compound sprayed with DPPH (a) and isolated compound sprayed with vanillin-sulphuric acid reagent (b). The plates were developed in CHCl<sub>3</sub> : EtOAc  (1 : 1, v/v) as the mobile phase.  A positive reaction is indicated by the appearance of a yellow spot against a purple background. </table>
