Effect of Arthrospira maxima (AM) on the level of 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine (8-oxo-dG) induced by Cd in the serum of mice fetuses. 8-oxo-dG was measured in fetal serum samples by means of HT 8-oxo-dG ELISA Kit. Bars represent means ± SEM of 5 groups with six individuals each. The calibration curve, as well as the effect of the tested compounds, was determined by duplicate. For the quantification, we followed the instructions shown the HT 8-oxo-dG ELISA Kit. *Statistically significant difference with respect to the value of Cd treated mice.
